After a marathon 62-hour labour, my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world tired, excited and scared shitless. My wife found solace and support in the plethora of mothers' groups, community services and online forums. During my weaker moments, I too sought support from other dads. The problem was that there just wasn’t any. Men just aren’t adept in sharing their stories, feelings, fears and accomplishments. It’s 2017 and this just can’t be the case anymore. Dads need support, they need guidance, they need other dads to rein them in and pump them up in equal parts and I want to make a small contribution to that by publishing your stories.
